Members of AMOA have collaborated on an 8-minute training video designed to help first responders establish and manage helicopter Landing Zones for patient transport.

The video provides practical guidance for law enforcement, firefighters, and other emergency personnel who may be called to assist with setting up a safe and effective LZ for air medical helicopters. It covers key safety considerations, communication protocols, and best practices to ensure smooth coordination between ground crews and flight teams during patient transport operations.
