As the air medical industry responds to the Covid-19 pandemic, AMOA is helping its members focus on the safety of flight. AMOA is monitoring the ongoing requirements for aircraft operations during the coronavirus outbreak. Each AMOA member operator has their own medical and operational policies and procedures in place to meet FAA regulations, state health authority requirements and CDC guidelines. Air ambulance transportation is an essential service in times of medical need, and AMOA member operators will continue to provide life-saving transportation during this crisis to the best of their ability.
Air Medical Operators Association (AMOA) is a diverse group of aviation operators working together to commit to safety enhancements and improving the safe operation of air medical transportation. We are committed to providing the highest level of safety for transporting patients and the medical crews that care for those patients by implementing and investing in technology, exceeding FAA training requirements, oversight and safety assurance systems, along with providing cultural and climate attributes for the continued safe and effective operation of air medical services.
